Unlike units that have passive infrared systems, this radar unit doesn’t detect temperature changes, but physical movement around your property. No need getting a false trigger because a gust of warm air blew in from the town over or your vents decided to go off in your house. The range can be adjusted by turning over a knob, adjusting the detection area from three to fifty feet.
